The right site starts with the right plan.
Before a single page is designed, we work out what your site actually needs to do: who it's for, what they need to find, and what action matters most. Budget goes toward pages that earn their place.

Which pages the site actually needs, and which ones would just add upkeep without earning their place.

Tech decisions
Speed Start or Custom Start, which integrations matter, and what can wait until later.
The first step, not a separate project.
Strategy isn't a slide deck you pay for and file away. It's the first working step of a Custom Start build: a call to understand your business, followed by a short written plan covering sitemap, priorities, and what each page needs to do its job.
That plan is what design and build actually work from, so nobody's guessing halfway through what a page is supposed to accomplish. For Speed Start, the same thinking happens in miniature: picking the closest-fit template and mapping your content onto it.
Strategy questions answered.
Is strategy a separate paid service, or part of every build?
It's folded into Custom Start. Every project starts with working out the sitemap, priorities, and structure before any design begins, at no extra cost. It isn't a standalone package you pay for separately.
Do I need this if I'm doing Speed Start?
Less of it. A template already comes with a proven structure, so the strategy step is lighter: picking the closest-fit template and deciding what content goes where, rather than designing a sitemap from scratch.
How long does the strategy phase take?
Usually a single call plus a short async follow-up: a day or two, not a multi-week discovery process. Enough to agree the shape of the site before design starts, not so much that it delays the build.
What if I already know exactly what I want?
Then it's quick. We confirm the plan matches what you've described and move straight to build. The point is making sure budget goes toward pages that earn their place, not adding process for its own sake.
